All rooms are good, unpretentious pub rooms with en suite facilities.

They also sell at unpretentious prices, namely £80 per night for double occupancy from Sunday to Thursday, which includes a tea, toast, cereal and juice breakfast (served between 8.00 - 9.45am). On Friday and Saturday, the rooms are £90 per night, but breakfast includes a full English fry-up (or grill-up, to be more precise, served between 9.00 - 9.45am). Also, Saturday nights are now sold singly (rather than as part of a two night stay), which should make the rooms attractive to guests attending local weddings.

The King’s Head offers good pub grub but we are very happy to welcome guests for a more sprauncy dinner at the Crown and Castle – or, for a £10 supplement per person, a splendid full English breakfast from Monday to Friday.
